graphic: Alright, my request is moderately confusing, so I need to tell the story that goes with it. My dormmate hates SG, and moreover, mocks me incessantly for watching it and being so emotionally involved. So I decided to be the bigger person and because of her mocking...I'm covering my walls with all things stargate. I can't just put up pics, because I figure if I'm going to do this, I have to do it right, and right means seeking out the aide of the grand high master of all things pretty and stargate. This has been my rather long-winded way of saying whatever size so suits you creative muses suits me just fine.

Pictures: I trust your taste more than mine, but if you'd like me to go hunting I'd be more than obliged. I fancy daniel (lots and lots of fancy), d/v, vala, and if you wouldn't mind throwing in some cameron (I don't think she can really mock when she sees the prettiness of the leading men, he's no Daniel, but he has his days.)

Text, Brushes, or Lights: No idea what any of that means, but I sound smart for saying it

Colors: I favor the blues, and reds, but again, if a pic just hollars something else I'm not going to argue.

I went through my caps and I can't find a good shot. The loaves and fishes was hard to cap, and I don't own the DVD. I'm a holdover from the dinosaur age and most of my movies are still VHS. So, I can't promise when, but I will try to get the movie from the library again and cap the scene again, then will do the icon for you. I'm sorry I can't get it right done, but I will be happy to do it for you.

I'm almost afraid to ask, but . . .

I have a bit of a minor fascination with the handmaidens in the SW prequels. I've looked at your sets of icons for the PT, and there's only a few that have any of them. Maybe when you want to take your next break from actually writing SW, could you see if there'a maybe enough usuable footage to make a set of icons just for the various handmaidens?

Or you could just shoot me for asking when you're trying to write and work on plot outlines and other fun things . . .

lol, well it depends on what caps I have and I *think* I pretty obsessively iconned like EVERY cap I had when I did my PT set. The only one of the prequels I own on DVD is RotS, so I downloaded caps for the other two. I'll see what I can find, but there probably isn't much left in my cap folders that I didn't do already.

For the icon: I wanted it to start off with a couple of pictures of Herc and Xena in romantic poses (hugging or kissing). The next frame has a black background and silver text that says "Iolous would like to remind you..." The next frame shows a ticked-off Iolous who says "Why does everybody keep forgetting that I tapped that first?"

any specific colors: for the Superman header, I prefer grays, blacks, blues and reds. For the icon, I don't really care.

Okay. I actually don't watch Smallville beyond season 3, and I don't have superman returns, so I'm going to have to ask if you can provide caps for that header. As to the icon...animated icons are really not my thing. I think they're annoying to look at, personally, and I have trouble compressing them to fit LJ standards. Sorry to be a pain, but you're probably going to want to find someone to do that who can do a better job of it than I could. I'd rather have someone with a quality icon than take a request for something I can't do well.

i have ideas and mental images of how they should look, but no master skillz in this department.

it's very silly things like a WTF here and a snarky comment on Troi's hair there. if you're too busy or something i could do them myself, i just thought i should give you first crack at them since they are your icons.

If you let me know which ones you want texted and what you want them to say, I will give it a shot. I don't really like text on my icons, hence the reason I make mostly hush, so I'm actually not that great at making icons with stuff written on them.
