Since my profile page is a bit...shall we say...eccentric in style, I decided to make a post that might give people a hint about what actually goes on here and where to find the important stuff. Or possibly to run away. This is your last warning. Mwhahahahaha.

Council Law

This journal is governed by The Evil Genius Council and does not conform to the normal rules of society, the internet, or the universe. Council Law is as follows. • Respect others and respect yourself. If you cannot disagree without being rude, don't post a comment. • COMMENT if you download or read something. It helps us know what is of interest to you. It's not necessary to comment on every post, but an occassional "Hey, nice set of updates" is appreciated. • Visit so_out_of_icons to view Lionchilde's graphics that are for use by other users. This journal was created for me to monitor my own growth and there are older posts here that I would prefer people not to snag from. • DO NOT re-upload Aruna7's fanvids to YouTube. Epecially do not re-edit her openings and call them your work. • DO NOT post Lionchilde's graphics as your own. People will know anyway and you will be mocked mercilessly. • There will be no fandom bashing. Similarly, ABSOLUTELY NO Lucas bashing. We don't always agree with his decisions, but Star Wars is his baby. If you don't like his decisions or his direction, make up your own universe and film your own movies. • You were a newbie once too. No matter how much you know about your fandom, there will be someone somewhere who knows more than you. Violations of Council Law are punishable by frying pan and mockery.

Notes : My grandparents taught me about Jesus when I was young, but the road to my adult decision to serve him was long and difficult. This is for him and for the people who set my feet on that path. The gospel footage comes from The Visual Bible: The Gospel of John, directed by Philip Saville and starring Henry Ian Cusick as Jesus. It's my understanding that Mr. Cusick wrote a book about his experience playing this role, and that he will be portraying Jesus again in The Gospel of Mark. I really hope that whenever Luke is filmed, he'll do it again because I've seen just about every Gospel film ever made and he's one of (if not THE) best actors I've witnessed in this extremely difficult role.

It's been almost a week since I posted the final chapter of One Path. My mourning process is (mostly) over, and it's time to start talking about what happens next. I have a ton of other projects, including collaborations with aruna7 which will, in all likelihood, be longer than One Path. For the present, however, I will be taking a partial hiatus from fandom-related activities, especially writing in the Star Wars fandom. I will still be around on LJ, and may in fact, have more to say, but I feel that all of my fanfiction projects are now in a position where readers have closure, and I really need to focus on other things for a while. You can check the author's notes posts that I made yesterday for more information on whichever of my fics that you're following. More on what I will be up to and why is under the cut.

Hello, dear flist. I'm in need of a little advice from any of you who are familiar with the use of LJs tagging/memory features. With One Path's end, I've decided to spend the rest of the year focused on two of my original projects. (I'll be writing more about that decision in another post, I think.) One of those projects is Bloodkin; the other is a relatively new concept that I plan as a trilogy.

An Introduction to Vader's Cat

What can I say? Vader's Cat is an intentionally ridiculous series of vignettes about a cat adopting Darth Vader. It started as a joke between me and my friends, aruna7 and polgarawolf. Little did we know how much people would enjoy it. Completed works in the series are:
